Theatre by the Lake employs around 50 permanent paid staff.  Temporary staff, including actors and casual stage staff, can bring the total number of emloyees to around 90 at peak times of the year.  In addition, the theatre benefits enormously from a pool of 180 part-time volunteer staff who perform duties as ushers and sales staff for programmes, ice cream and and merchandise.

The staff are lead by joint Chief Executives, the Artistic Director (Ian Forrest) and the Executive Director (Patric Gilchrist).

Professional staff are engaged in the following broad categories: artistic (including actors and community/education participation staff), technical and production, finance and administration, marketing and ticket sales, front of house, maintenance and cleaning, and bars/catering.  (Click here for current vacancies.)
